You guys! Hands down. Best mask for spot treating blemishes!!!
It comes in a huge jar as well, but I hate masks that I have to dip my fingers in. So these smaller ones in tubes are better.
So I’ve come to the decision that once my second set of Omorovicza products are finished (I’m almost there) I’m diving head first into everything LA MER!!! I’ve been reading about the line and I wannna try it all. I will still keep the products from Omorovicza that I’m obsessed with, which I’ll tell you guys about soon, but I wanna try everything from La Mer.
Here are the products I’m mainly interested in:
The Regenerating Serum
The New Moisturizing Soft Lotion
The Eye Concentrate
The New Perfecting Treatment
The Cleansing Gel
The Lip Balm
If any of you guys have used any of these products and have REAL feedback on them I would love to hear it. Thanx guys!
I am in love with the combination of these 2 divine Doctors. My skin care routine has become a collaboration between these 2 lines and I am very happy with the results I am seeing thus far.
I’ll start from left to right with Lancer.
I wash off my make up with the usual Boscia Makeup-Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil, or my FAB Face Cleanser depending on what mood I’m in. I will follow with the Lancer Polish (AMAZING) and then the Lancer Cleanser. After drying my face, I apply the Eye Contour Lifting Cream, then the Rextexturizing Treatment Cream with Glycolic Acid 10x, and then the Intensive Night Treatment.
Now for DAYTIME:
I might rescrub my face, might not. Most of the time I won’t. So my first step is to wash my face with the Cleanser using my Boscia Konjac Sponge. I WILL NEVER STOP USING THIS SPONGE, IT’S GOD GIVEN. Anyway, I’ll dry my face, apply the Eye Contour Lifting Cream, then the Advanced C Radiance Cream: Vitamin C Collagen, let it sit a moment and then (now here is where it gets tricky). Since I got pregnant the smell of the Lancer Nourish Cream realllllly bothers me. So I went to Space NK back then and asked for another daytime moisturizer. One that was moisturizing enough for my NOW dry skin. That’s when they gave me samples to these 2 beauties:
After using the samples for about a week I went and got the products. I still keep my Lancer Nourish cause (hoping to use it one day) but I am so obsessed with Colbert that Lancer Nourish can take a backseat for the time being. So back to daytime routine, after my Vitamin C I will take 2 pumps of Colbert Nitrify & Protect Day and mix it with 1 pump of Colbert Illumino Face Oil. After 1 min I will apply Lancer Sheer Fluid Sun Shield SPF 30, unless I forget which happens -__-.
And there you go guys, my extensive but surprisingly quickly performed skin care routine. *Lancer Retexturizing 10x is pretty similar to Sunday Riley Good Genes. My Sunday products (which were GREAT) are on hold while I experiment with these 2 lines. I am very happy with my skin since using these products. I’ll keep you guys posted of any changes.
I wanted to post a quick nighttime skincare regimen in case my last post about my skincare was too detailed or confusing for some. So here is a picture of the products I use every night (I just used them all):
Going from left to right: I removed my make up with the Cleansing Oil, scrubbed with the polish, cleansed with the cleanser, applied the eye cream, then the retexturizing cream, and finally the Luna oil.
Sorry I made you all wait so long for the skin care post. I have enjoying my few days off. I start my last term next week, and I can only imagine how hectic it will be. Anyway, here we go:
I’d like to start off by saying that unlike both my sisters, some of friends, and other beautiful girls that I know, I do not have “perfect” skin. I have always had to make sure I use the right products because my skin is definitely blemish prone and has discolorations. I can go days with clear skin and feel amazing, but then I’ll suddenly feel a nasty blemish or 2 coming on -_-. HATE IT!
A few weeks ago my skin started going out of control, like never before!!! It took me a minute to realize that this was due to the fact that my IUD “the mirena” which I have had for the past 5 years was expiring, and the hormonal changes were causing my skin to go ape shit. After removing the IUD last month, I decided to look into serious skin care. Up until now I have been using different products from different lines, which had been working for me, but I wanted to invest in ONE line and stick to it. So after much research here is what I decided to go with:
I had heard so much about Dr. Lancer skin care, especially from the ladies at Nordstrom every time I would go to pick up my Murad toner or Arcona scrub. So after days and days of research about the line I decided to give it a shot. It has been over 2 weeks that I have been using it and I have definitely been seeing a difference in my skin.
Here is a breakdown of what I purchased:
The polish: It’s basically a scrub. In the Lancer Skin Care method you have to scrub your face every single day prior to cleansing it. I know it sounds crazy but when you think about it, it makes sense. His theory is that in order for the cleanser to really clean yours skin, you must first remove the dead skin. I only Polish at night.
The Cleanser: So since I use this after my polish, it’s obviously not meant to take my make-up off. If you guys remember I used my FAB cleanser for the longest time to remove my make up and then I followed it with the Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser to cleanse. I stopped using these even though I loved them. Now I use the Boscia Cleansing Oil, I apply it to my dry face with my dry hands, then I take a wet facial cloth, wipe off all the make-up and move onto the polish. After the polish I will cleanse (by the way I dont use my hands for the cleanser, I use the Boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge). I use the cleanse every night after polishing but in the mornings I don’t polish. I just cleanse.
Eye Contour Lifting Cream: I use the eye cream every single day and night. This is both tightening and moisturizing. Which is exactly what I was looking for in an eye cream.
Advanced C Radiance Cream, Vitamin C Collagen Cofactor 10x: I use this Vitamin C cream every morning. So I will cleanse, apply eye cream, apply the Vitamin C cream, then my Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion.
Retexturing Treatment Cream Glycol Acid 10x: I use this amazing treatment at nights only. This product is good for uneven skin tone, power resurfacing. It can be used twice a day, but I choose to only use it at night, after washing my face and applying my eye cream. I still use my Luna Oil from Sunday after the Retexturing Tx, but I might switch over to the Lancer night moisturizer.
Volume Enhancing Lip Serum: Love this stuff! I use it day and night. But I don’t carry it around with me. I leave it at home and use it in the am and pm.
I did not get the day time moisturizer by Lancer. I went and got a sample of it, and after using it for 2 days and 2 nights I realized that it’s making my skin oily. I tried both the one for blemish prone and the combination skin. So I am style using my Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion. Oh and I forgot to mention, since the Lancer Method doesn’t include a toner, I have temporarily stopped using my Murad Clarifying Toner, which I love, just to see the full effect of only using Lancer.
That’s all my loves!
This morning I received a gift box in the mail from Tatcha Japanese Beauty & Skincare with the sweetest letter inside. I am so excited to use my new products. 🙂
Will post reviews soon!
