In my shower…
image
I am using these products interchangeably and here are my thoughts:

-LOVING Kerastase Shampoo, Conditioner, and Treatment.
-LOVING Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Conditioner. Smells amazing, isn’t heavy, makes my hair shiny and healthy.
-Kinda not liking the Rahua Shampoo. I got this from Space NK months ago, and as you can see the bottle is still half empty. That’s when I know I don’t really care for a product, when I’m not really using it. Has a nice lather but my hair sticks to my head during shampooing. Since I shampoo 2x unless I used a lot of product then I’ll shampoo 3x, I will use this shampoo on my second wash. My first wash will be Kerastase because it softens my hair prior to going in with a shampoo that feels harsher on my hair.
-I am still in limbo with Ouai Repair Shampoo and Conditioner. But if I were forced to say if I love or hate it I would go with HATE. I don’t like the way it makes my hair feel in the shower or when I am blow drying. I have a lot of thin hair, and this shampoo might be too heavy for my hair. The conditioner is okay, I don’t hate it. This line was way too hyped up.
-As for Kevin Murphy’s Plumping Wash…I fell in LOVE with the scent of this shampoo when my colorist Suzy used it on me at the shampoo bowl the last time I was at the salon. So without hesitation I bought it. But after using it a few times, I realized this line is too heavy for my hair. So now I only use the conditioner on the ends and I don’t use the shampoo. -_-.

Shampoo & Conditioner

Hey Guys,

Here are some new additions I made to my shower lol. I had finished my entire (small) bottle of Kerastase Bain Satin 2 shampoo, and since I loved it so much I figured I would just get the largest bottle this time around. It is definitely a bit pricey but worth every penny.
image
I also stopped by Suzy at Monroe Salon a few days ago for my color and she washed my hair with a shampoo and conditioner that smelled TO DIE FOR. I swear I have never in my life smelled anything this amazing!!! So I had to get it.
image
I have had stylists use Kevin.Murphy on my hair before, but not the plumping wash. I will keep you guys updated on how I like it.

Honestly, I’m feeling like the shampoo is a bit too heavy for my hair texture. (smells to die for tho lol). Kerastase is wonderful though.

Product Review

Went to cosmoprof a days ago for shampoo and conditioner and go this:
image
It said Daily Cleanse so I thought it would be good to substitute my Wella, once a week for a nice cleanse. I hated it! Was not cleansing at all, it actually made my hair feel heavy.

SHAMPOO/CONDITIONER

Good Morning Everyone,

It’s been a while since I did any product review on shampoo/conditioners, and since yesterday I went and stocked up on some, I decided to post.

So this shampoo & conditioner by Wella is by far my favorite set. Yesterday I went and picked up a new bottle of the shampoo because it always finishes sooner than my conditioner.
image
image
The first time I got the set was a couple of months ago from cosmoprof for only 30 dollars. After using it for a couple of weeks I loved it. The shampoo is very light weight, not heavily moisturizing so I doesn’t leave build up behind, and the conditioner is light as well. They are actually award winning by Allure magazine, which I saw yesterday at ULTA.

This next shampoo & conditioner I hated! It just remains here in my shower for no reason, and its still half full.
image
After trying out the 5th set of volumizing shampoo/conditioner I swore to never get them again. They never ever work, and instead they leave product residue on my scalp, which ends up weighing my hair down even more.

If you are looking for a drug store shampoo & conditioner I recommend this line. I love L’Oreal. I mismatched the products to what fits my hair type. So instead of getting the Moisture System Nourishing Shampoo and conditioner I only got the conditioner and for shampoo I went with the Reconstruct. I have a lot of hair but it’s fine hair, so if I use moisturizing shampoo it weighs my hair down even more.
image

I also love this line:
image

I’m on my second set. If I had to choose between the shampoo and the conditioner, I would say conditioner. Makes my hair feel amazing, does’t weigh it down, and has just the right amount of moisture.

My drybar Happy Hour shampoo is finished so I threw it out. My shampoos always finish first, and then I have half a bottle of conditioner left which I never end up using because they don’t have their mate lol. These were okay. I liked them cause it honestly does say what it says it does, which is not weighing the hair down, great for blow-outs and for fine hair. But I didn’t love it.
image

Now everyone knows I must use a clarifying shampoo at least once a week to clear up any product build up, or residue. Not that I use any hair products other than hair serum, but it’s nice to cleanse the scalp. And my favorite one of all time is by Pureology. But yesterday I decided to go with a recommendation and try this out:

Anyway gotta get ready for a nice day ahead. Hope you all enjoy your Saturday!

Fekkai

Good Morning Everyone!!!

A couple of weeks ago when I went to Nordstrom to buy my T3 blowdryer, I was given a small sample of Fekkai shampoo and conditioner.

Here is the conditioner sample, I used up all the shampoo.
image

Anyway I freakin loved it! No residue, lightweight, smells great, and feels amazing after a blowdry! So yesterday I went to Planet Beauty in Studio City to get the larger bottles:

Drybar

Hey Guys,

On saturday I had gone to the Drybar in Studio City for a blow dry and ended up getting these 2 products:
image
I have used them twice already and love them! The shampoo is a clarifying one but not too harsh, it doesn’t leave your hair dry and stuck to your head, and the conditioner does just what it say. It is a weightless conditioner not leaving behind residue or weighting your hair down. I have thin hair but a lot of it, and the last thing I need is a conditioner that weighs heavy.

Totally recommend it!

Do you suggest anyone in particular at the Studio City location? I haven’t been before and read mixed reviews, so I’m a bit hesitant. Thanks!

Recent Purchases…

Stopped by Naimies for a few ago for some items a during a break…

My beauty blenders were 3 months old already, and even though they can be used for a good 6 months, I get disgusted of them sooner than later.
image

My cleansing shampoo from philosophy was finished.
image

Lo and behold they have my favorite new half lashes at Naimies now…the ones I bought from Bloomingdales a few weeks ago.
image

And of course my favorite half lashes ever from Ardell.

Wella…

Hey guys,

Hope you all had a great weekend.

I dyed my roots this weekend for my girlfriends wedding. I went to cosmoprof and got black dye by Wella. I also go shampoo and conditioner by Wella, which I have used twice so far and loved it!

A good friend of mine works for Wella, and has the greatest things to say about their products so I decided to use their line. The black turned out beautiful and I loved that the developer was oil based.

The shampoo and conditioner I bought was the one for color treated thin hair. They have many other types but this fit my hair type the most. It smells great and gives a great shine to my hair, most importantly not weighing it down.

night…night…

Hey guys,

I don’t know about you guys, but I am a huge fan or reality tv, and most of the shows on ABC. My favorite show on ABC for the past year has been Revenge up until last week when I watched the pilot of Mistresses and the first episode that aired yesterday. You guys should definitely check it out!

Anyway…I went shopping with my cousin who is visiting from Moscow. I bought some make-up. Ill post them tomorrow. I also was in need of a basic shampoo recently so I got this great one from Alterna. It’s for moisturizing, or volumizing, or hydrating, its just a basic shampoo for color treated hair and I really like it.
