A few days ago I posted a photo of my haul so here is a breakdown of it all, I finally had a moment to take some individual photos. I filtered the pix, but I made sure to keep the swatches unfiltered so you guys get to see the actual colors. Here it goes:
Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream:
Sunday Riley Good Genes:
Can you guys tell this bottle is HUGE lol. I found it on Barneys.com later I saw Sephora.com had it as well but it was sold out. Here I took a pic of my old smaller bottle thats almost finished. Huge difference in size.
Buxom White Russian. One of my favorite glosses. EVER.
Boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge. They have been out of the black one at the Americana the last 2 times I have gone. So I just pick up the white. Works pretty much the same.
I was on 3rd street a few weeks back and picked up the new C.E.O. C+ Antioxidant Protect Moisturizer by Sunday Riley. I am starting to realize that Sunday Riley might be my favorite skin care line thus far. I have been using the moisturizer every morning after my Orlane B21 Serum and have been really liking it! It is very moisturizing and yet it doesn’t make me look greasy or oily. Sometimes if I am feeling extra dry at night, I will use the CEO as my night cream with my Luna Oil and Good Genes and use Tidal as my day time moisturizer.
I also had to restock on one of my favorite mascaras Benefit Roller Lash.
Since we are on the topic of mascara…I had to pick up the new YSL Shock. I have always been a fan of their original mascara so I thought I would like this as well. The wand looks great, but after trying it a few times I am not very fond of it. It is definitely not lengthening, kinda makes them clumpy and short. I dunno. Maybe I have to try it a few more times. As of now my 2 favorite mascaras as Lancome Hypnose and Benefit Roller Lash.
I also picked up a few sheet masks. I have tried the Bosica Charcoal Pore Minimizing Hydrogel Mask before and liked it. I don’t have large pores but I like that it says “purifies” (some people need to purify their dirty souls, just saying’) I wonder if they sell masks for that lmao.
And since I liked the Charcoal I decided to try a different one from Boscia as well, this is the Green Tea Mattifying Hydrogel Mask. I have an oily t-zone so this should be great for me.
The anti-blemish got me on this one lol. I’m not fond of the brand Sephora but I thought I would try this out. Sephora Green Tea Face Mask.
Ok this mask just looked soooo cool I couldn’t walk away from it (then again, who am I kidding, I can’t walk away from most products). Farmacy Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask. I won’t bore you guys with too much info so if you wanna read on it, just click on the link.
A couple of weeks ago I picked up the medium size of this amika Balancing Shampoo and after a few weeks of using it I realized how much I liked it! So I went to Naimies and picked up the larger one. This is the first shampoo that feels really hydrating and soft when I am washing my hair and yet it doesn’t make my hair limp.
I had heard a lot about these FAB Facial Radiance Pads so when I was at the 3rd Street Sephora I picked them up. I have used half the tub already and I think they are dumb as shit. Literally nothing has changed, nothing feels different, I feel like I am wiping my face with a wet cotton pad. -__-.
I love Boxum so when I saw these Plumpline Lip Liners online a few days ago I knew I had to get them. I just hate guessing what color I would like so I waited until they had them in stores. Incognito was the only color I liked, and to be honest I didn’t even love it. It was a bit too pink for me so I thought I would nude it down a bit with a nude lipstick. I have worn it once so I am not sure how I feel about its plumping effect.
You all know how much I love the Lancome Teint Idole 24 hr Foundation. I was online one day and I thought if I love the foundation so much, why don’t I give the primer a shot as well. –I have not been able to put this primer down since the day I bought it. I have never been a fan of silicone based primers, I have tried the famous Smashbox primer in the past and have broken out every time. But the Lancome La Base Pro Perfecting Makeup Primer has not made me break at at all, and my foundation stays on all day, my t-zone remains matte, and looks flawless! Love it!
I have a SHIT TONE of make-up! But if I were to name one of my favorite products it would have to be lip balms. I have a lip balm obsession! I have like 4 in my car, at least 1 in each purse, and 30 in my make up drawers lmao. So you know getting the Bite Beauty Everyday Agave Lip Balm was a must. I loveeeee the feeling of my lips after applying lip balm. This one in specific is super hydrating!
The Anastasia Liquid Lipstick in Stripped is my little sisters favorite lip color. And her lips always look amazing. So I decided to get one as well. I am not a huge fan of liquid lipsticks cause they dry out my lips and give that stupid line (do you know what I’m talking about lol). But I thought I would try out this color.
Thus far every Charolette Tilbury product I have tried I have not been let down. So I decided to give her Magic Complexion Brush a try. I have only used synthetic hair bristles for my foundation brushes, so I was really eager to try out natural hair bristles as well.
I also picked up this beautiful lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury in Hepburn Honey.
While we are on the topic of lipsticks, right next to Charlotte at Nordies is the Burberry counter. They launched a few new lipsticks and velvet liquid lipsticks. I loved this color Nude No. 407
This Cover FX Powder Brush is BOMB. It’s really nice and dense and works well with both pressed and loose powder. I have been using it to buff out my Youngblood loose powder on days where I don’t wear foundation. The coverage is flawless.
I feel like this post is never ending.
I was on the Colourpop website a few days ago and saw 2 warm matte eyeshadows that I really liked. I know they are just like every other warm neutral that I have. But oh well. The color pay-off is amazing though.
I have been trying to finish this post for 3 days now -_-. Why won’t it END?!
Last but not least (F-ing Finally)…I picked up 3 different Tartiest Creamy Matte Lip Paints and I would like to say right off the bat that I HATE them all. :).
The consistency sucks, it dries on your lips like chalk, gives that annoying line in the inner lips, and the colors aren’t really the nice. I don’t know what I was thinking picking up 3. Sometimes I see new shit and lose my damn mind at the store.
OMG I’m finally done. BYE.
Oh ya and this is what I got with my points. I rarely like anything they give out and end up collecting my points. I was at 6,000 so I got a few of these Vanilla Perfumes. I love the way it smells! I really like carrying these around everywhere. lol.
I finally had a moment to take individual photos of the products I had recently purchased. So here it is:
For the longest time I have used this Purity clarifying shampoo by Pureology. I kinda stopped buying it cause I have not really been washing my own hair for almost a year now -_-. But I was at the store and thought I’d pick one up. I use it like once a week to get rid of any product build up or residue. I’m not big on using hair styling products (haha even though I’m always buying them), but once in a while I will use a texturizing spray.
I was on the Sephora app at night (what’s new) and saw these Natasha Denona All Over Glow for Face/Body. I think there were 3 shades and I got 01 light and and 02 medium. I swatched Light (the highlighter) and I hated it, very little color pay off and horrible texture. The bronzer on the other hand (shade 02) is GORGEOUS, it has this amazing hint of cool gray.
I know a while back I mentioned the Benefit Roller Lash mascara and how much I was loving it, well a few days back I got a sample of the mascara They’re Real and OMG I loved it! I honestly never thought I would like any other mascara other than Hypnose by Lancôme but now I Love these 2 by Benefit. Oddly enough they are both rubber tipped, which I used to hate. And yes for those of you wondering, I still use Cils Booster XL by Lancome prior to applying all of these mascaras.
This new MUFE Pro Light Fusion Highlighter is LIFE:
They are new by MUFE and have 2 shades. 01 is more of a silver tone, which I hardly ever gravitate to, and 02 is gold. I have to admit when MUFE first launched their bronzer in this same form I didn’t like it at all. See how the product is waved…well there is a way you need to swipe your brush or finger to get the maximum product. You have to follow the wave pattern, that’s why I never liked the bronzer. But this highlight has a buttery texture to it, and the color is gorgeous!
I found 2 great nude lip liners, cause we all know how I need a few more in my life -_-. One is Nude No. 1 by Burberry and the other 01 Intense Sassafras by Clinique. I’ve been using the Burberry one everyday since getting it.
Laura Mercier Candleglow Sheer Perfecting Powder. Ummm…I dunno about this one. I’m not ready for a full review yet, but off the top of my head I can say that I’m not loving it. I got it in the color 01 Light to set my under eyes with.
One of my all time favorite foundations! Lancome Teint Idole. I needed a darker shade than what I had at home.
No clue to why I got the Mineral Primer by Hourglass. Elcie Pearl Radiance Primer does the same thing, if not more.
I have heard amazing reviews on the Luminous Silk Powder, so I decided to give it a shot. I still set my foundation with Youngblood so I think I will use this for touch-ups. I have been using this for a few days now and so far I’m not insanely impressed. Packaging is cute tho, nice to pull out of your make-up bag in public lol!
Double Wear has been one of my go to foundations for YEARS, there was a period in my life where I wore it every day! I picked up a darker shade. If you guys are wondering why I have so many different foundations it’s cause when my skin gets used to a foundation and it starts looking dull, so…I switch back-n-forth between different ones to keep looking bomb.
FAVORITE EYE LINER. Marc Jacobs Finalizer. Amazing gel formula that lasts forever.
I am on #5 of the Benefit Brow Zings Tame & Shape Kit. This shit breaks every week!!! Pisses me off, but I keep getting it cause I love the product.
Trying this Boscia Charcoal Pore-Minimizing Hydrogel Sheet Mask for the first time, my gf Rima loves these. The name of the mask is such bullshit though, IT’S NOT GOING TO MINIMIZE YOUR PORES, but lucky for me I ain’t got large ones lol.
This is just another product I am going to try out in order to ATTEMPT to prevent major hair loss post partum. I ordered it Barneys.com Rene Furterer RF 80 Concentrated Serum.
I am LOVING the large FAB Face Cleanser. This size is limited edition so I bought it as back up (I should probably go back and buy a few more, you know…in case of a natural disaster). I have been using the large one for a while now and it lasts soooo long, especially since I use the Boscia Konjac sponge which really helps with not wasting product.
This White Charcoal Mattifying Makeup Setting Spray caught my eye immediately and my gut told me I was going to love it. I have been using it for a few days now and I think I really like it. It says you can spray on before and after make-up application, but I only spray it on after I’m done. The first time I used it, I sprayed it pretty close to my face and then like 5 minutes later I saw I had white dots ALL OVER my face lmao. I tried to wipe them off but they would not budge. It dries like chalk and doesn’t come off until you scrape or rub so be careful. Oh and it also gets on your clothes. It just needs to be sprayed from a good distance.
So the same time I picked up Double Wear by Estee I knew I needed a cleansing oil because this foundation is IMPOSSIBLE to take off. I got the Boscia Makeup-Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil just because I have used it in the past and really like it.
That’s all folks!
I walked into my bedroom yesterday and realized that I have products literally piling up on my vanity. It was time I take photos of them so that I can throw away their boxes. I have been so busy with life that I have products I purchased over a month ago that I still have not touched. Anyway I had time this morning for the unvailing.
So here it goes:
I went to Ulta a while back , and I ended up seeing my FAVORITE bronzer from Buxom Hot Escapes in Tahiti, which I think Sephora no longer carries. I thought it was discontinued, but I guess not. So even though I have 2 I bought another one:
I think I have mentioned before that it smells like heaven!
This Guerlain Terracotta was one of the things my sister brought for me from France. I had seen this product at Saks a while back and didn’t get it. By the time I regret not getting it, it was sold out. It has such a gorgeous peach glow!
These 2 lipstick by Bite Beauty I had seen online, but I couldn’t figure out the colors I wanted. It’s from there new Multistick Collection. You can use them as lipstick, blush, shadow. I waited until they hit stores to see which colors I liked, rather than picking the colors online and then possibly returning them if I didn’t like it.
I wanted to live a little, and got 2 colors for my pedicures. I tried them both and realized I didn’t like either. -_-
I had seen a friend of mine use this Bali Body Tanning Oil on her social media and so decided to get it. I thought the name and packaging looked so cool. Since it arrived over a month ago I have not used it once. Lets face it, I wasn’t about to get in a bikini and bask in the sun 1 month postpartum lol. And now that summer is ending I will probably have to discard it because it will expire by next summer. Pointless purchase.
OMG I saw Teni Panosian post this product and the glow was insane!. I am IN LOVE. I went and got 2 more.
This next product I saw Mario (Kim’s MUA) use on her app. He used it to contour. So I ordered the contour shade and the highlight. LOVE them both, the texture is amazing. Instaglam Compact Contouring Powder. Instaglam Compact Illuminating Powder.
Love them both. I think I will get the Instaglam Compact Banana Powder next.
I can’t remember the last time I stopped by the MAC counter to get something. I passed by the other day and saw these new products.
I tried them and didn’t like them at all. The color pay-off SUCKS!
Don’t be fooled by how nice they looked on my fingers, I had to rub the shit out of them to get some color. It does not show on the face when applied with a brush.
This next product, Glow Kit, I think I got like 3 months ago and totally forgot about it. I don’t even think I have used it.The colors are so beautiful.
You guys, I am obsessed with the scent of this Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Shimmering Oil! I want to live in it! The shine is so-so, the Kopari coconut shimmer oil has a much nicer glow. But the scent of this is LIFE. And yes I know they have the actual perfume, but the oil smells so much warmer.
Next I have the Becca Jaclyn Hill Champagne Splits Skin Perfector. This shade was sold out for so long. But I finally got my hands on it. Now I just need to remember to use it!
I have been using this hair product for 13 years!!!!!! That’s all I have to say about that.
This was such a random purchase. I use it, but it’s nothing special. Just a nice gloss to carry around I guess.
I swear I have no idea why I bough this bronzer. The packaging is stupid, the color is so-so, I don’t really like Clique. What was I thinking?!
Love these Matte Liquid Lips by Bare Minerals from their Gen Nude collection. These 2 colors were my fav out of the entire collection. Have not used them since buying them 3 months ago. But one day I will:)
I got this lip liner a few months back and loved it! I later ended up giving it to a friend, so I just picked up another one.
I think this color is so beautiful for an everyday blush. It’s a perfect pinky-peach.
Saved the best for last…This lipstick I discovered a few weeks back, I loved it so much I went back to Ulta to get another one, but they were sold out. So I ordered one more online. Stila Stay All Day MATTE’ificent in Palais. I get asked what I have on my lips all day when I have this on.
