Favorite lippie at the moment:
Seriously lighting makes the worlds difference. The color looks totally different with natural sunlight.
I LOVE the texture of these NARS Velvet Lip Glides. Too bad this is the only color I gravitated to.
I love studying next to a Sephora. This way I can take productive study breaks lol. I died for this eyeshadow color! And the color payoff is insane! That swatch was just one swipe.
Who remembers Chelsea Girls in the little tub? I bought it about 10 years ago when it first came out. It was my favorite color! Anyway they now discontinued the tub and it’s in a wand form. Still the same beautiful color.
Good Morning Beauties!
This product is definitely an Oldie but Goodie, the Nars Laguna Bronzing Powder has one of the best pigments ever! Not orange at all, it has the perfect brown tint with a little bit of shimmer. I can contour and bronze with this bronzer, and that’s not something all bronzers are able to accomplish.
Last night, my daughter and I decided to go to the Americana for a little bit and unwind. I walked into Sephora, with no real intention of buying anything ’cause I had already gotten some stuff this week but of course THAT didn’t go as planned.
–on a side note, I wanted to clear something up. Throughout a few of my posts I have mentioned that I buy things I “don’t really need,” and a few of my readers have gotten offended by that statement. I rarely explain myself, but this time I will.. The majority of people who follow my site do not know me personally and therefore might take some of the things I write to offense. Me saying, “I bought things that I do not need” simply means I REALLY DIDN’T NEED IT. I mean, I think it should be safe to assume that 90% of my readers understand that I have an issue when it comes to buying beauty products lol. However, how I chose to spend my “disposable income” is entirely MY business. I don’t share my posts with you guys to be “obnoxious.” It’s JUST a blog, not the nightly news. Let’s be real, everyone buys things they don’t need. My intention is never to prove something to my readers, or present myself as someone I am not. I am a very blunt person, I speak my mind and I don’t sugar coat my words. I also have very thick skin and sometimes, I don’t realize that not everyone is like me. On that note, please do not take my comments too personally and don’t take those comments where they have no intentions of going. Thanks and PEACE
Here we go:
This is the new Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation that launched on the 14th in Nars boutiques. I was so anxious to get it.
A few weeks ago I posted the New Kat Von D contour kit and then a week or 2 later they came out with the Shade + Light Contour Brush that goes along with it. I’m so excited about this brush!
The packaging is so cool!
The slanted tip is great for contour and bronzer, and I’ll be using the domed side for setting powder/highlighter under my eyes.
I had seen this a Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer few weeks ago on a Vlog, and could not wait for it to hit the stores. I mean “Carrie & Big”, come on…how can you not get it?!
The pic does not do justice to the actual color! It also came in a pink tone, but I loved the peach.
So since the Melted collection by Too Faced did so well, they decided to expand on the collection and added to the colors. I am obsessed with the new Melted Sugar!!!
I can’t wait to combine the color with Melted Nude.
This morning I was so excited for my new buys that I used all the products. I took one pic at my moms house for inside lighting, and one outdoors, this way you guys see what the colors look like. I’m sure you guys are sick of hearing this but I must say it again…nothing is smoothed, retouched, or tampered with. This way you guys see the true colors of all the products. With that said…don’t zoom to close to my skin lol, you will definitely find imperfections.
Yesterday was my second day trying out the Girlactik Concealer. I must say I am not very fond of it. It’s not bad, but it’s definitley not wonderful like how I would say Nars, or MAC is. This is very chalky, it’s not creamy, it’s more on the dry side, and there are only 3 shades that are very very different from one another. So there are no in-between shades, C1 is very pale almost looks green, C2 jumps to a very peach pink tone and C3 is dark. In any case it’s not really worth having. -_-
Foundation: (LOVING IT)
Eyeliner: (LOVE THIS STUFF)
So I am obsessed with this concealer, Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer!!! I bought one a year or so ago, in the wrong color used it, hated it, and kept it in my drawer causing it oxidize and turn to shit. –A couple of days ago I was at the Hollywood Highland Sephora and I purchased another one, but this time in the correct color. Seriously wow! It’s so amazing that I kinda stopped using the “almighty” MAC ProLong Wear concealer. It’s not as heavy as MAC, and works just as great! It has an amazing highlight, the texture is so nice and creamy, it stays on for hours, and doesn’t crease. (I still love my MAC ProLong Wear Concealer, the only thing is it looks to me a bit chalky after using Nars)
My color is Custard:
