A few days ago I posted a photo of my haul so here is a breakdown of it all, I finally had a moment to take some individual photos. I filtered the pix, but I made sure to keep the swatches unfiltered so you guys get to see the actual colors. Here it goes:
Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream:
Sunday Riley Good Genes:
Can you guys tell this bottle is HUGE lol. I found it on Barneys.com later I saw Sephora.com had it as well but it was sold out. Here I took a pic of my old smaller bottle thats almost finished. Huge difference in size.
Buxom White Russian. One of my favorite glosses. EVER.
Boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge. They have been out of the black one at the Americana the last 2 times I have gone. So I just pick up the white. Works pretty much the same.
I was on 3rd street a few weeks back and picked up the new C.E.O. C+ Antioxidant Protect Moisturizer by Sunday Riley. I am starting to realize that Sunday Riley might be my favorite skin care line thus far. I have been using the moisturizer every morning after my Orlane B21 Serum and have been really liking it! It is very moisturizing and yet it doesn’t make me look greasy or oily. Sometimes if I am feeling extra dry at night, I will use the CEO as my night cream with my Luna Oil and Good Genes and use Tidal as my day time moisturizer.
I also had to restock on one of my favorite mascaras Benefit Roller Lash.
Since we are on the topic of mascara…I had to pick up the new YSL Shock. I have always been a fan of their original mascara so I thought I would like this as well. The wand looks great, but after trying it a few times I am not very fond of it. It is definitely not lengthening, kinda makes them clumpy and short. I dunno. Maybe I have to try it a few more times. As of now my 2 favorite mascaras as Lancome Hypnose and Benefit Roller Lash.
I also picked up a few sheet masks. I have tried the Bosica Charcoal Pore Minimizing Hydrogel Mask before and liked it. I don’t have large pores but I like that it says “purifies” (some people need to purify their dirty souls, just saying’) I wonder if they sell masks for that lmao.
And since I liked the Charcoal I decided to try a different one from Boscia as well, this is the Green Tea Mattifying Hydrogel Mask. I have an oily t-zone so this should be great for me.
The anti-blemish got me on this one lol. I’m not fond of the brand Sephora but I thought I would try this out. Sephora Green Tea Face Mask.
Ok this mask just looked soooo cool I couldn’t walk away from it (then again, who am I kidding, I can’t walk away from most products). Farmacy Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask. I won’t bore you guys with too much info so if you wanna read on it, just click on the link.
A couple of weeks ago I picked up the medium size of this amika Balancing Shampoo and after a few weeks of using it I realized how much I liked it! So I went to Naimies and picked up the larger one. This is the first shampoo that feels really hydrating and soft when I am washing my hair and yet it doesn’t make my hair limp.
I had heard a lot about these FAB Facial Radiance Pads so when I was at the 3rd Street Sephora I picked them up. I have used half the tub already and I think they are dumb as shit. Literally nothing has changed, nothing feels different, I feel like I am wiping my face with a wet cotton pad. -__-.
I love Boxum so when I saw these Plumpline Lip Liners online a few days ago I knew I had to get them. I just hate guessing what color I would like so I waited until they had them in stores. Incognito was the only color I liked, and to be honest I didn’t even love it. It was a bit too pink for me so I thought I would nude it down a bit with a nude lipstick. I have worn it once so I am not sure how I feel about its plumping effect.
You all know how much I love the Lancome Teint Idole 24 hr Foundation. I was online one day and I thought if I love the foundation so much, why don’t I give the primer a shot as well. –I have not been able to put this primer down since the day I bought it. I have never been a fan of silicone based primers, I have tried the famous Smashbox primer in the past and have broken out every time. But the Lancome La Base Pro Perfecting Makeup Primer has not made me break at at all, and my foundation stays on all day, my t-zone remains matte, and looks flawless! Love it!
I have a SHIT TONE of make-up! But if I were to name one of my favorite products it would have to be lip balms. I have a lip balm obsession! I have like 4 in my car, at least 1 in each purse, and 30 in my make up drawers lmao. So you know getting the Bite Beauty Everyday Agave Lip Balm was a must. I loveeeee the feeling of my lips after applying lip balm. This one in specific is super hydrating!
The Anastasia Liquid Lipstick in Stripped is my little sisters favorite lip color. And her lips always look amazing. So I decided to get one as well. I am not a huge fan of liquid lipsticks cause they dry out my lips and give that stupid line (do you know what I’m talking about lol). But I thought I would try out this color.
Thus far every Charolette Tilbury product I have tried I have not been let down. So I decided to give her Magic Complexion Brush a try. I have only used synthetic hair bristles for my foundation brushes, so I was really eager to try out natural hair bristles as well.
I also picked up this beautiful lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury in Hepburn Honey.
While we are on the topic of lipsticks, right next to Charlotte at Nordies is the Burberry counter. They launched a few new lipsticks and velvet liquid lipsticks. I loved this color Nude No. 407
This Cover FX Powder Brush is BOMB. It’s really nice and dense and works well with both pressed and loose powder. I have been using it to buff out my Youngblood loose powder on days where I don’t wear foundation. The coverage is flawless.
I feel like this post is never ending.
I was on the Colourpop website a few days ago and saw 2 warm matte eyeshadows that I really liked. I know they are just like every other warm neutral that I have. But oh well. The color pay-off is amazing though.
I have been trying to finish this post for 3 days now -_-. Why won’t it END?!
Last but not least (F-ing Finally)…I picked up 3 different Tartiest Creamy Matte Lip Paints and I would like to say right off the bat that I HATE them all. :).
The consistency sucks, it dries on your lips like chalk, gives that annoying line in the inner lips, and the colors aren’t really the nice. I don’t know what I was thinking picking up 3. Sometimes I see new shit and lose my damn mind at the store.
OMG I’m finally done. BYE.
Oh ya and this is what I got with my points. I rarely like anything they give out and end up collecting my points. I was at 6,000 so I got a few of these Vanilla Perfumes. I love the way it smells! I really like carrying these around everywhere. lol.
Made a quick stop to Naimies earlier today. My body lotion from Keihl’s had just finished today so I picked up a new bottle:
I love this lotion! Especially when I mix it with Keihl’s dry Argan Oil.
Anyway, I’m sure most of you saw on my blog a few days ago that I started to lighten my hair from jet black to brown. The process is going amazing so far, but of course I am very BIG on keeping my hair healthy! SO I decided to pick up, in my opinion, the BEST line of hair care to keep my hair as healthy as possible throughout the coloring process: Kerastase Nutritive. I used to manage a salon about 10 or so years ago and that’s when I first got introduced to the line along with Bumble and Bumble. The Nutritive collection was always my favorite! I got Bain Satin 2 because 1 is not heavy enough for me and 3 is too heavy. So 2 is perfect. God the scent takes me back! I love reminiscing.
This next one is the conditioner.
Masquintense is a treatment. Years ago this treatment was numbered like 1, 2, and 3 just like the shampoos. I being the lightest formulation and 3 being the heaviest for severely dry and thick hair. But I guess now it’s split between thick and thin hair. So of course I got thin cause my have A LOT of THIN hair. I’ll be doing this once or twice a week. I’ll wash my hair at night, put this on and go to sleep. In the morning I wash it off.
This product was new to me. Loved the smell! (smells just like the line lol nothing different). I just wanted a nice leave in oil I could use after a wash.
I also picked up my first pair of Lilly Ghalichi Glam lashes:
These 2 were my fav:
I stopped by Naimies 2 days ago, I was in dire need of shampoo/conditioner. I also picked up a few items along with what I needed…Check em’ out:
This scent reminds me of when I first got married, I had these everywhere in the house. I decided to buy one for my new bathroom:
This Enjoy conditioning spray has got to be one of my favorite products ever! I think I have gone through 4-5 bottles. I guess they repackaged it -_- cause it’s my first time seeing it look like this:
I picked up this New Shampoo/Conditioner by Maaz:
A friend of mine recommended it, she said she loved it so I thought I’d give it a try.
Plus you all know I’m a sucker for good packaging lol. I knew it would look good in my shower.
I also needed a new cleansing shampoo, and I kinda got over using the one by Purology, so my friend Ani who works at Naimies recommended this one by Hg. I have used HairGia before and really liked it so I thought I’d give this a try:
Next up I picked up this nude lip stick (which I DID NOT NEED):
Nice color though…
I was in need of a hand lotion for my nightstand.
I dont know what ever happened to my Jane Iredale Handi brush. It is one of my favorite loose powder brushes, so I got a new one.
Some more of my new favorite half lashes…God I love these! They are not dramatic at all, not too drastic, gives my lashes just the right amount of UMPH!
Last but not least I really liked this NYX lipstick:
That’s all guys!
This week I stopped by Naimies and Frends for a quick few items:
I picked up 3 of my favorite blush refills from Naimies. I’m so glad I made it on time because they are going to stop selling refills for shadows and blushes, so I ended up getting the last ones.
This one is a shadow not a blush:
Jacqueline Hill on Youtube raves about this shadow, she uses it for the brow bone and the inner corner of the eye.
Swatches: Top left: Style, Top right: Prism, Bottom left: Gingerly, Bottom right: Mylar (shadow)
I forgot to buy a large Z-Pallete so for now I placed them with my MUFE shadows:
Such a pretty nude liner from Lorac (more on the pink side though)
So it’s no secret that on occasion I like to wear Ardel #318 half lashes. I just love that tiny hint of zhazh! SO, I decided to try out something new. Granted the half lash already is half a lash lol making it seem a bit more natural than a full lash, I decided to go even smaller and try out the quarter lash (I totally made that up “quarter lash” haha). Here is what it looks like:
This is Short in length
This is medium:
I have used it twice already and I really like it. Its much more subtle than the half lashes which I love! I also love how they are a set of 3 stuck together making it easier for me to apply. I have tried applying individual lashes in the past but I couldn’t get them on for the life of me. So these are a blessing lol.
–In my opinion lashes can totally change your entire face. They just make us look so much prettier than we are lol (I seriously laughed at that statement but it’s sooo true!) Ever seen someone with really dramatic lashes on a regular day? Even those people who wear really dramatic half lashes…then you see them without it, and your like WoW…is that what you really look like? –Ok I hate that. Don’t get me wrong…for special event I’m all for full beautiful lashes, but never one a daily. I like to add a tiny something to enhance my beauty, rather than overdoing it for an everyday look. So at the moment I am loving these babies!
–So I know I got more stuff but I have no clue to where I have put them. I’m sure I’ll find it, and when I do, I’ll post it.
