Bon Appetit

So a lot of you wanted to know my eating habits. Although I had put up a fitness post a few months ago. I thought I’d post a picture of what I normally have for lunch. It always looks a little like this:
So yes, to answer a few of your questions, I do eat carbs (for breakfast and lunch only), I just make sure it’s whole wheat and in a small portion. I’ll have my protein, steamed veggies and a salad. Once again everything is in small portions. I can’t finish it all in one sitting so I’ll eat half for lunch and then in 2 hours I’ll eat the rest. Then dinner at 7.
🙂 No carbs for dinner, and I don’t drink anything until 40min to 1hr after my meals.

Hi. How come nothing to drink until a bit after you eat? 🙂

first of all it makes you bloated, and second your food takes longer to digest, basically makes it more difficult for your body to digest the food.

I really depends on the trainer and the type of program who choose. Meaning how many times a week you see them and if a nutrition plan is included.

Hey Guys,

Sorry this took a minute, I know a lot of you had requested a post on my health/fitness routine. So here it is!

I work out 3x a week with my personal trainer. We do 15 min of stretching, 15 min of cardio, 45 mins weights/core depending on the body part we are targeting that day, and then we finish with a 15 min massage/stretch. I also try to go get a work-out alone in between my sessions with my trainer but sometimes I have a hard time cause of my schedule with school and family life. This has been my schedule for about 4 months now. I completely stopped doing classes like spinning and cardio barre cause I got tired of them. Especially Cardio Barre lol, after 7 or 8 years of going it just got OLD.

Along with working out I eat very healthy about 5 days a week, and I cheat about 2 days but not the full day. I might cheat for dinner or lunch. What I mean by “I eat healthy” is that on Sundays I will go grocery shopping and on Sunday night I will cook for the next 5 days Monday-Friday. I only prepare my 5 days of lunch, because I am home for dinner and our housekeeper prepares my dinners for me. The only thing I will do for dinner is take out the fish or meat that I will be eating that night from the freezer and the nanny will marinate it for me and have it ready by 5 with whatever veggies she decided to put with it. The meals I make are given to me by my trainer who is also a nutritionist. I get a new menu every 2 months, this way by body does not get used to the same food and plateau.

Here is my nutrition in a nut shell: I eat every 2 hours, I start with a heavy breakfast which includes protein, complex carbs and good fats, I limit my carbs to only breakfast and lunch, fish 3x a week, red meat 1 or maybe 2x a week, healthy snacks like unsalted peanut butter with apples, or hummus with celery, very very low seasoning and sodium in everything I eat, lots of water, everything is in small portions, no protein shakes, or pre-workouts, or bullshit skinny teas. I am scared to take anything artificial, cause that s&%# may benefit you in one aspect, but hurt you in another.

I don’t pretend to be into fitness, working out, or pretend to go on hike once a month. I have been athletic and have loved to work out since I was a teen. I care very much about looking and feeling great, and it has always been one of my top priorities. I am always inspired by women who do the same, cause it sure isn’t easy!

Hope this post helped. If anyone has questions feel free to send me and email or comment. I will make sure to answer all the questions.

Kudos to you for taking care of your health and body! It absolutely is NOT easy. I have lost about -15 lbs. and kept them off the last 4 months after doing bootcamp 5-6x/wk. I am trying to lose another 20-25 lbs. and have started spin classes which are awesome. 🙂 Keep us updated on progress, and congratulations! x

Sounds amazing! Wish I could do that too, but it’s hard since I am pretty much addicted to sweets. What do you do for such cravings?

    1. anyut says:

You can! My husband is addicted to sweets and he lives a very active and healthy lifestyle but once week he binge eats on sweets lol. I don’t like sweets at all but I love salty spicy foods and chips. So my trainer gave me a list of healthy chips. I cheat once in a while though lol.

It’s hard. I have lost 30 lbs and need to lose another 30-50. Goal is 10 a month but I hit a plateau. Keep losing and gaining the sane 5 lbs.

    1. anyut says:

Losing 30 lbs is amazing! When you plateau thats when you know something has to change, whether it’s diet or exercise. Good luck I’m sure you can do it! We all gain a few lbs here and there in-between, so don’t let that bring you down.
