Product Review

Morning Guys,

Over a month ago I stopped by Naimies and picked up a few things. Most of which I forgot to post. But now that it’s been in a while since I have been using the products, I can review them. So today I will review the Lorac Pro Contour Palette:

I must admit I am a big fan of all things Lorac, especially their Pro products. I have yet to be disappointed from any of their products.

Sorry for the lighting, this was taken when I was still living in the pool house. -_-

These colors are amazing!!! and the texture is velvety smooth! You don’t crack, flack, or look dusty/dry. The highlight colors could not be more perfect and that shimmer highlight is too die for! it’s like Emphasize from MAC on steroids!

It also came with this brush:

Didn’t love it though. Bristles were too small and stiff, didn’t blend well.

Here is a pic of me that I took right after I contoured and highlighted with this kit. I swear I probably had 30+ people ask me what I had on my face this day.

Hope you all enjoyed this post, and please don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE!

This looks amazing! Do you have the Kevyn Aucoin contour powder? If so, do you recommend it?

Hi Sarah. The foundation is the new too faced foundation. I have on Ardel half lashes in #318, my lips are a mix Too Faced Melted in Melted Nude toped with Dose of Color in Sand.

    You look beautiful anyut

How would you compare it to the Anastasia Beverly Hills palette and the kat Von d?

    1. anyut says:

I would have to say I like Kat and Lorac more than the Anastasia just because they both have better highlight shades. The Anastasia banana is a bit too yellow for me and the other shade is too pink/white. The texture of Anastasia is a bit more chalky/dusty. But then Lorac has this GORG shimmer highlight that Kat Von D doesn’t have lol. It’s just so hard to choose!

You look lovely. However, your eyebrows are uneven, fill in your left brow a bit more at the top to make them even

Yes you’re right they are always uneven. It’s annoys the shit out of me. And I think it got worse after the Botox lol.

I’m not sure if you already blogged about this, but…how was your botox experience? What would you tell someone who has never tried anything like that??

            Hi Eve,

No I have not blogged about this last time I got botox/fillers. This was my second time doing it. The last time was a little bit over 2 years ago. I think that everyone women/man should decide for themselves if they think they need botox or any filler for that matter. If you are asking me about my personal experience. I take pain very well, so it did not hurt, it looks great, my skin looks supple, and my frown lines have disappeared lol. I think getting fillers is great, as long as one doesn’t over due it and started looking botched.

Need your expertise….lately, my face looks really caked on and my foundation looks blotchy.. my foundation goes on really weird… I can’t figure out what it’s from..I use the Becca foundation.. could it be my moisturizer..

ok so do you exfoliate you face? Cause you might just have dry patches that make you foundation look blotchy or uneven. Becca is a bit heavy so that might also be the reason its looking caked, when you use that foundation make sure to put a thin layer and have on a nice coat of moisturizer underneath. You should try toning your skin with the Shiseido Ibuki Softening Concentrate, it exfoliates away dead skin. You should also try using a foundation that is not as heavy in consistency. If you like the coverage of Becca then you should try the New Marc Jacob foundation or the Cover FX droplet foundation. They are both thin in consistency and offer amazing coverage.
