Soleil Tan De Chanel

Hi everyone,

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I had a great weekend with lots of QT with my family. We celebrated by daughters 2nd birthday…time flies so fast. I spent my “Sunday Funday” at the Grove and of course bought make-up!

Within the past couple of years I have bought 2 different limited edition Chanel beauty powders. And I loved them!!! So since i have such great luck with their limited pieces…My eye caught one yesterday and so I bought it. It is a beautiful bronzing powder called Soleil Tan De Chanel in 907 Sable Beige. I loved that it wasn’t too dark and it didn’t have too much shimmer.

KAI

Hi everyone,

I was recently introduced to a body line called Kai. My girlfriend Rima had gone bat shit crazy at Naimies and bought the entire line, so I decided to do the same. I am officially in love with this line! Thanx to Rimul!

The line is inspired by tropical vacations and white exotic flowers…all of their products are infused with its signature fragrance of gardenia and exotic white flowers. The reason I love this line so much is the feeling it gives me after using it. Its very refreshing, the scent stays on your body for hours, like you just stepped out of the shower.

Kai Body Polish it is a combination of essential oils, exfoliating salt, and hydrating sugar. Use it in the shower after letting your body soak for 5 minutes. Take some in the palm of your hands and rub it all over your body. It gets rid of dead skin cells, I use it 2 times a week.

Kai Body Wash contains comfrey cucumber and ivy extracts.

I know some of you may wonder if it made my skin break out, the answer is no. By body is very sensitive to products with perfume. For the life of me I cannot use any body washes from Victorias Secret or Bath and Body Works. But Kai products are very natural and soothing. I use the wash everyday.

Kai Body Glow. Many of you are wondering the purpose of this product, lol I know my sisters are. This products is not for everyone, and let me explain what I mean by that. If you are the kind of girl who likes to take time in pampering yourself, and do every little extra step, wether it comes to make-up, hair care, or body care, you would love this. But if you are not, which is okay, lol then don’t bother getting this cause you won’t use it.

The body glow is a dry oil body mist. After getting out of the shower and lighting drying your body, you spray this all over, then apply moisturizer. It hydrates the body and preps for moisturizer. I don’t recommend using this alone as a body moisturizer because it isn’t enough hydration. So for those of you that don’t like steps, and time consuming processes skip this and go straight to body moisturizer.

And last but not least…the unmistakable scent of fresh gardenia, cucumber, exotic white flowers, and fresh yellow bananas! Kai Eau de Parfum

I use this line based on my mood. Most of the time I use products that smell of vanilla, coconut, oatmeal and shea butter. But the aroma of Kai changes your mood, and refreshes you.

XOXO,
Anyut

YoungBlood Mineral Cosmetics

Hi Everyone,

Allow me to introduce the love of my life…

Youngblood Natural Mineral Foundation!!!

About 7 years ago I was introduced to this product by a friend, it was love at first sight and still going strong. lol. Youngblood Mineral Foundation is very similar to Bare Escentuals Mineral Foundation, it is all natural mineral make-up, it has flawless full (build-able) coverage, no shimmer, and is light weight. Some of you may wonder why I chose Youngblood and not Bare Escentuals. The 2 reasons are because Bare Escentuals makes my face itch, and I could never find my exact color! Every color I have tried was either too yellow or too pink.

Youngblood comes in different forms, loose, pressed, cream to powder, and liquid. In my opinion loose is the best form, the pressed is nice too but doesn’t compare to the loose.

How I use it:
Youngblood alone has full coverage, apply it over liquid foundation and you have flawless full coverage!!! How I use it depends on my mood, lol. Most of the time what I do is after applying my moisturizer and foundation…I use my Jane Iredale Kabuki Brush and set my foundation with my Youngblood Mineral Powder. I spill some powder into the lid, and tap the lid with my brush. Then instead of circular motions, I press the brush onto my face. On days where I don’t feel like wearing liquid foundation…I simply apply my powder over my moisturizer. Oh! but don’t forget concealer.

Some of you may wonder “isn’t loose powder too messy to carry around with you for touch ups?”. Well the best part about the kabuki brush that I use (or any kabuki brush for that matter) is: during the day when I have to touch up, I don’t need to dip it in my powder. The brush carries the powered inside the bristles. Especially after days of use. So all I need to do is apply!

Recently I decided to carry around a compact just for emergency use, so I bought Benefit Hello Flawless. Its an amazing powder foundation! Great Coverage!

XOXO,
Anyuta

Love Liquid Lipstick by Kat Von D

Hi everyone!

Hope you all had a great weekend!!! Mine was pretty splendid :). Today I wanted to introduce to you all 2 gorgeous colors my girlfriend bought from Sephora from Kat Von D’s Love Liquid Lipstick Collection.

The one on the left is called Berlin-Warm Rose, the one to the right Backstage Bambi-Vivid Hot Pink. The texture is fabulous, the color is very vibrant, its long-lasting, and my favorite part about it is it goes on glossy and dries matte.

Backstage Bambi

Berlin

As you can see Berlin is more on the peach/orange tint, and Backstage Bambi is pink. I only bought Berlin, and since is a bit bright for me, I like to layer it over a nude lipstick.

Banana Ben Nye

Hey guys,

I recently found out about the coolest setting translucent powder by Ben Nye called the Banana Luxury Powder.

Its a loose translucent powder with a very yellow undertone. The powder works wonders on tanned complexions, you can use it on light skin tones as well. Some of you might find the powder too yellow to wear all over the face, in this case try using it under your eyes to set your congealer.  I know a lot of us girls really like the way Kim K’s concealer looks so bright. Well this powder will help you achieve that look by brightening and highlighting under the eyes.

*it also comes in other colors.

Anyuta

“Clarins Body Treatment Oil”

Hi guys,

Over 2 years ago when I was pregnant, large and in charge I like to call it, my body went through many changes. One of my main concerns was dry skin, and when your pregnant worried about stretch marked, the last thing you want is dry skin. Another concern was tired crampy legs. At the time, a good friend of mine introduced me to a body oil treatment by Clarins called “Anti Eau” Body Treatment Oil. Its been almost 3 years since I was pregnant and I am still obsessed with and using this oil. The smell alone will get you addicted. Every time I use it I feel like I am at the Encore Spa in Las Vegas.

The oil contains plant extracts, such as Geranium and and Marjoram, helps prevent toxins and prevents sponginess. It also contains hazelnut oil that locks in moisture. After a few times of use, your body feels tighter, and relaxed. I like to use it in the morning to help me wake up and feel energized or at night if my feet are tired.

There is a specific way to use this product. Apply it on damp skin, then follow up with a cool rinse to lock in the moisture. I like to use it in the shower. After scrubbing my body I massage it all over, then rinse under cold water. The great thing about it is you don’t have to moistures afterwards.

XOXO,
Anyuta

Fresh!

Hi guys,

One of my first posts when I started blogging was my 2 favorite face washes. Purity by Philosophy and Neutrogena Naturals. Most of my girlfriends seem to disagree with me. Even though they like Purity By Philosophy, they all have one thing in common…they all love and swear by Soy Face Cleanser by FRESH. Ive got to tell you, I’ve tried an entire bottle of it and had mix feelings. It smells wonderful, like cucumber, and its great for removing eye make up as well. But, I didn’t feel like it really washed off all my face make-up and residue.

Initially when starting my blog I decided to post products that I love and that I use. Since starring it I have been receiving so many emails from wonderful girls telling me about great products that I have yet to use, and asking my to blog about it. So I figured its not only my opinion that matters, and if majority of these ladies, along with my girlfriends are raving about some of these products, then I will post them and keep all of you updated!

Weekend Fun!

Hi guys,

Hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was pretty chill. I went make-up shopping at 2 different Sephora locations. Americana at Brand on Friday night and Malibu on sunday funday. I found some cool new colors. Oh and I finally bought my first Chanel lip gloss. As I have mentioned before I am not a big fan of Chanel Cosmetics even when I worked for the line, I seldom wore any of their stuff. Don’t get me wrong, they have nice colors I just never wanted any of them lol.

Check out how nice this color is and how beautiful the packaging is! Yes…I unfortunately am a sucker for nice packaging and anything limited edition. Anyway this new line of Chanel Lip Gloss is called Rouge Allure Extrait De Gloss and the color I bought is #67 Caprice. Its a very natural pink, check it out:

This weekend was a weekend of firsts lol. I also got my first Lancome Lip Stick. Loved the color!

the color is called Pale Lip and its from Lancomes Color Design collection.

Anyut

Buxom Lovin’

Hey guys,

I’m sure most of you are familiar with Bare Escentuals (not so new anymore) line called Buxom. Well, I have formed an oral fixation (lol) on their Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Sticks. Here are my 4 favorite colors:

From left to right: London, Marrakech, Nantucket, and Sydney

From left to right: Marrakech, London, Sydney, Nantucket

London is a baby pink, Marrakech is my all time fav cause its nude, Nantucket is a peachy nude, and Sydney is a plumpish/pinky taupe. The reason I love these Lip Liner Lipsticks so much is they way they feel on. Not only does it define your lips, it fills it in with color and most importantly it PLUMPS!

And of course I can not forget my all time favorite lip gloss from them Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Cream in White Russian.

This lip gloss is insane! it feels great on, very velvety! plumps your lips, and is the perfect combination of nude and pink. This color is sold out in most Sephora locations.

hope you all enjoyed todays post!
