Moisturize your Body!

Hi ladies and gents!

I don’t know about you guys but I’m obsessed with products that smell good! I don’t mean floral scents. I mean spa scents and summers scents like jasmine oil, argan oil, coconut, vanilla, anything that will remind me of tanning and the beach! After a nice long shower I like to take my time and moisturize my body. Its something that I’m never too lazy to do! I believe that ALL women should always take the time for the little pleasures in life!

The combination of these 2 products has to be my Favorite!!! body moisturizer!

On the left Hempz Pure Herbal Extracts, Sold @ most beauty supply stores.
On the right Kiehl’s Superbly Restorative Argan Dry Oil, Sold @ department stores, Kiehl’s and boutiques.

How to apply: After a shower, on damp skin, combine the oil and the lotion in the palm of your hand rub together with both hands and apply all over the body. Or you can apply them separately first the oil then the lotion. I like to combine them.

Enjoy!

XOXO,
Anyut

Dont Laugh!

Hi guys,

Ok seriously don’t laugh at me. Well, you can if you want lol. I want to share with you all my eye cream and moisturizer. I use everyday for the past 3 years.

Yes my eye cream is vaseline, and it costs 4 dollars, and my facial moisturizer is Ca-Rezz, is free cause I get it from our medical supply. lol

My sisters and I have been using Ca-Rezz for years, and we love it! The ingredients is very simple and good for your skin! Old men and women get the cream for free from their medical supply stores. I think you can buy it for 5 dollars. Feel free to visit my mother-in-law @ AEG Medical Supply to buy a tube! lol

I have had my share of eye creams and face creams that have run me from $45-$900. At the end I always go back to Ca-Rezz. I don’t ever break out from it, its not too heavy, and not too light!

How to apply: After washing your face in the morning…take a small amount of vaseline with your index and middle finger with both hands, and apply on both eyes. I apply it all over my upper and lower eye including the sides of my eyes, where crows feet occur. Afterwards I apply my Ca-rezz moisturizer on damp skin. Since your face is already dry after washing it and applying eye cream you should dampen your face. I love using evian facial spray. Then apply Ca-rezz from neck up. I reapply 2 mins later on days that my skin seems drier than usual. Once it sets…I apply my foundation or just powder.

Anyuta

Detangle/Leave-in!

Hi guys,

Again I apologize for the order that I posted the hair product posts. I did this a bit backwards. So really todays post is the first step after washing your hair. Since my hair is a bit fine, I don’t apply conditioner on my roots so it doesn’t weigh my hair down and lose whatever volume it had.

After towel drying my hair I spray a detangler/leave-in to be able to comb through my hair. Some women might consider this to be a unnecessary and extra step, I on the other hand enjoy the process, and believe there is no such thing as too many steps when it comes to healthy and shiny hair.

Here are my @ favorite leave-in conditioners. (they smell wonderful)

j.f. lazartigue

You can purchase j.f. lazartigue Shea Butter Leave-in @ Nieman Marcus or online.

Its a 10 Miracle Leave-In

You can purchase Its a 10 Miracle Leave-in @ Namies Beauty Center or online.

The Royal Blowout!

Hi everyone,

Earlier I did a post on serums that I use after blow-drying my hair. Sorry I did not do this in the correct order, but now I will introduce you all to the amazing product that I apply prior to blow-drying. It is called the Royal Blowout by Oribe. After washing my hair and spraying a leave-in detangler, which I will do a blog post on soon, I part my hair into sections and spray the Royal Blowout and start blow-drying.

My Hair gloss/shine/serum/oil Obsession!

Hi guys,

Check out my hair serums. Im seriously obsessed with hair gloss, over the past 8 years i have tried hundreds of them! Here are my favorite favorite ones! Rest assure they all smell amazing!

Hair Serums!

starting from the back left to right:

Aquage Beyond Shine,  Sold @ most beauty supply stores.
Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Styling Treatment Oil, Sold @ most beauty supply stores.
Alterna Caviar Rapid Repair Spray, Sold @ Namies Beauty Center.
Kerna Platinum Silkening Gloss,  Sold @ Namies Beauty Center.
Neil George Indian Gooseberry Treatment Oil, Sold @ Bloomingdales.
Loma Pearatin Nourishing Oil Treatment, Sold @ cosmoprof.
Macadamia Natural Oil Healing Oil Spray, Sold @ most beauty supply stores.
Bed Head After Party, Sold @ beauty supply stores and major markets.
j.f. lazartigue leave in serum with shea butter, Sold @ Nieman Marcus.
Josie Maran Argan Oil Hair Serum, Sold @ Sephora/Josie Maran Website.
The last one is in a Moroccanoil Light Treatment, I replaced it into a sephora spray bottle cause the bottle gotten broken, Sold @ most beauty supply stores and some salons.

I use my serums after blowdrying my hair. Refrain from applying any of these products on your roots. For the serums use a very small amount start at the tips and move your way up. If you apply it directly on your roots your freshly blow dried hair will become oily. The same goes for the shine spray. Hold 12 inches away from your hair and spray. Or as I like to do so, spray in the palm of your hand and apply to your hair. This way you have more control over how much product you are using.

Tinted Moisturizer

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all are enjoying my posts thus far!

Im not a big fan of Tinted Moisturizer, as I have mentioned before in my previous post if I’m gonna wear something on my skin it might as well give me actual coverage. The only time I wear tinted moisturizer is to the gym just to give me a evened out skin tone, or on those really chill (I don’t care days). What I look for in a tinted moisturizer is a nice creamy texture, minimal coverage, and make sure it doesn’t make me break out. I have found 2 that fit that criteria.

The one on the left is by Too Faced Beauty Balm, and the one on the right is by Laura Mercier.

Conceal & Correct!

Hi everyone!

per your requests…my post today is about concealers and correcteurs. Up until 3 years ago I never used concealer. While working at the Chanel cosmetic counter one day a good friend of mine, Michelle, told me that I was in dire need of concealer and that I was no exception to the rule that all women must wear it. Low and behold…he was right. Since then I have used my fair share or concealers, you name it I bought it and used it. After years of experimenting different brands and still in the process of doing so, I have found my favorite few.

Cle de Peau

Cle de Peau has to be my #1 choice. I use beige. The texture is thick and creamy and has amazing coverage! Great for under the eye and spot/pimple application.

amazing concealer

Amazing Concealer is seriously amazing! The texture is so creamy and emollient, it goes onto your skin like silk. I would not recommend using it to cover pimples or other spots. I strictly use it for underneath my eyes.

Laura Mercier

Laura Mercier was one of the first concealers I tried. I used to be obsessed and kind of still am with her products. The texture is similar to Amazing Concealer but less emollient. This product I use for under eyes and concealing spots.

Make Up Forever

Make Up Forever has many different concealers, this product I use not for concealing but for highlighting. After I am done applying concealer, I apply this on my cheekbones and forehead. Its gives a dewy glow. Looks great when layered over your concealer.

Georgio Armani Corrective Concealer
Georgio Armani Corrective Concealer

I was introduced to Giorgio Armani’s Corrective Concealer last year. It is a great product. I apply it after applying concealer. What it does is it corrects any complexion issues. It comes in 2 different colors, pink and orange. The pink one works against dull skin giving it a pearly shine affect. It corrects yellow and olive pigmentation. The orange is for olive or darker skin, covering dark under eye circles, dark spots, and freckles. Sometimes after applying concealer you might look green or yellow under the eye area. I apply the pink corrector to cancel that chalky yellowness. The orange one I use on dark spots, not that I have many.

its all about the foundation!

hey guys,

finding the right foundation for your skin type has got to be one of the hardest choices a girl can make, especially since there are so many different products on the market today. One that doesn’t make you break out, one that doesn’t make you look like an oompa-loompa, one that doesn’t make your skin look dried out and caked, one that actually stays put, and your face doesn’t eat up, and finally one that has the right amount of coverage.

i myself prefer full coverage. not that i need it, i just figure if I’m gonna wear something then it might as well make me look flawless. i like my foundations to have build-able coverage because my powder is full coverage already. unless its a sweats n t-shirt kind of a day, then ill suffice with tinted moisturizer.

Right now I’m using a few different foundations.  Make Up For Ever HD in #127, Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear in #3.1, Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour full coverage foundation in medium, Estee Lauder Double Wear Light in intensity #3, and last but not least i love combining Nars Sheer Matt in Stromboli with MAC Studio Fix.

I recommend this for normal to dry skin. might make you break out. discontinue use if it does.

I recommend smashbox for all skin types. if your oily in the t-zone carry around with you blotting powder. the formula is kind of creamy, so if you don’t like the feeling of heavy foundation the steer clear.

LOVE this foundation. make sure to moisturizer well prior to applying. it may seem a bit dry after application. the coverage is wonderful and it doesn’t make you look caky at ALL!

After using ester lauder double wear for years when going out…i finally realized that i wanted a foundation that stayed on just as long and looked just as great for every day use just without the heaviness. So i found double wear light. make sure to moisturize prior to application, and apply it quick. it tends to dry fast on the skin. Gives a great glow.

so i love the coverage of MAC but hate wearing it on its own…it has not umph! and i love the glow of Narz and how it sets, but i don’t like the coverage. So one day i decided to mix them together…and walah! i looked fantabulous! i get asked what I’m wearing on my face a lot when i combine these 2.

hope you guys enjoyed the post! Feel free to leave comments or ask questions. Just click REPLY on the bottom.

Goodnight…

Some of my favorite brushes!

hey everyone,

per your requests…i have will be sharing some of my favorite brushes.

Laura Mercier Powder Brush

Laura Mercier has the most amazing Powder Brush. Yes i have 4 of them…just in case they discontinue the brush or i lose the other 3. lol. I use this brush to apply both pressed and loose powder.

Jane Iredale The Handi

I use the Jane Iredale Handi Brush to apply loose powder. It also works well to set my foundation.

Bdellium tools #958

Bdellium Tools has great brushes. I buy there brushes from Naimie’s  Beauty Center. I use #958 for liquid foundation. I love how large the head of the brush is.

Tarte Airbrush Finish Bamboo Foundation Brush

The Tarte Airbrush Finish Bamboo Foundation Brush is my new obsession. They are not kidding when they say airbrush! My foundation looks flawless when i use this brush and is very evenly applied.

Make Up For Ever 25S

One of my fav brushes for contouring is #25S by Make Up For Ever. The slant on the brush makes it idiot proof so you can’t go wrong during the application.

MAC Blush Brush #116

MAC Blush Brush #116 is great for applying blush because the bristles are tapered giving you more control over the brush and allowing you to pick up stronger pigment.

Stila One Step Complexion Brush #33
Stila One Step Complexion Brush #33

#33 by Stila is great for highlighting and contouring. I use it primarly for highlighting my cheekbones, and contouring and highlighting my nose.

Well boys and girls…i hope that helped. Out of all the face and cheek brushes that I own, I have to say these are my favorite ones and the ones I use constantly. If you have any questions feel free to leave a comment.

Anyut
