Mission Incomplete

I set out to find the Too Faced Cocoa Contour Kit today and unfortunetly my mission was a FAIL. Apparently it is only available online for the time being. Instead I picked up 3 other products:

Since the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar launched a few months back, I tried to hold myself back from purchasing it. But I guess I didn’t succeed:
The minute I opened the tin, the smell of chocolate hit my face and it smelled oh! so wonderful!

I am still looking for the “perfect primer”, and so when I was at Sephora today I recalled Claire Marshall saying on youtube that her favorite primer of 2014 that she continues to use now is the Tarte Timeless Smoothing Primer. So I decided to give it a shot:
Take a look at the swatch on my hand in the left…and then on the right look at how smoothed out my hand looks:
Can’t wait to use this tomorrow to see how it’s going to make my face look.

Lastly I got the new Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer that hit stores about 2 weeks ago:
I decided that this time I was not going to get a very light color, and instead I got a color just 1 shade lighter than my skin tone. The texture was great, and I heard it is not supposed to settle in the creases.

OT: Have you ever used anything for dark spots? If so, which brand and has it worked? I have this ugly dark spot on my face and I need to do something ASAP. TIA!

      Hi Zara,

I don’t really have any dark spots. Do you mean like a facial product like a cream to whiten it? or do you mean concealer to cover it? Cause if I have a spot from a blemish that is slowly clearing…I will just use my concealer to cover it up. One of my friends recently did a laser treatment for her dark spots. If you are interested I can refer you to the lady she went to.

Thank you for the response. Glad you don’t have to deal with them. I meant a cream or serum to whiten/lighten/vanish it. It only happened after my recent pregnancy. Concealers won’t cover it. Boy have I tried! Laser is my best bet but I wanted something to put on it at home in the mean time. Where did your friend go? I don’t trust these random ass places in every strip mall around town.

It’s called O skin care. 818-3558881. Amore Pacific had a few brightening spot treatments. It’s sold at Neimans and some Sephoras. I’m not sure if they still carry those products but it’s worth looking into.
