Sorry I’m so late in posting the individual products from the last haul. I totally forgot about these purchases. On the bright side, since I have used all of these for a while now, I will share my thoughts on them as well.
Tatcha Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder. HATED IT. For the life of me, I can not understand how anyone would like this product. The MESS alone while using it annoyed the shit out of me. I never wash my face at the sink, so image having to open this in the shower and pouring some in your hand while the water is running. It’s a disaster! lmao. By the time I wanted to rub it on my face, half the shit had already run down the drain! The exfoliant beads are sooooooo fine, my skin didn’t feel the exfoliation. I rate this a 5 out of 10.
Lancome Teint Idole is one of my favorite foundations. I needed a lighter shade to blend in with the 380W I have at home since the 380W alone is a bit too dark for me right now.
Estee Lauder Double Wear is also one of my all time favorite foundations. If I need to be out all day, and need my make-up to last for HOURS this is my go to foundation. I needed a lighter shade since 4W1 (the one I had at home) was a bit too dark on its own.
REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask. My best friend Rima raved about this mask to me, so I had to try it out. I have used it 3 times already and I like it. I have not seen a drastic difference, but my skin definitely feels smoother and firmer after each use.
Pore No More. This product is so dumb. It’s almost like a dumber version of Benefit Porefessional. It did nothing for me. I don’t have huge pores so I figured it would blur out the ones I do have, but it didn’t. And the ‘absorbs oil’ claim is bullshit, cause my t-zone got oily within a few hours of having the product on.
Lapis. I think I LOVE this product. I have not used my Luna Oil since I bought this. I remember reading the purpose this product serves online and thinking it was made for me. Since using it I swear my skin hardly gets blemishes and has been much more clear. It is a balancing oil for oily to combo skin, that clarifies and hydrates. The pretty packaging helps too.
Blue Tansy. I read great reviews about this product on Sephora.com and decided to pick it up. You know, I realized how much more I like masks in jars and tubs rather than sheet masks. I don’t know what it is about sheet masks that make me feel like I have residue on my skin after peeling them off, and that it’s going to make me break out. This Blue Tansy feels amazing when I put it on, it’s a cooling gel with a odd scent that I like. It’s clarifying and exfoliating. I don’t want to bore you guys with too much info on the ingredients, so just click on the link if you wanna read more on Sephora.com. I love Herbivore products!
Kate Somerville ExfoliKate. I used to use this products years ago, then I retired it and used the Arcona cranberry exfoliator, then retired that and have been using Lancer’s Polish Method (which I LOVE). But recently I decided to go back to this baby. After using it like 3 times I realized it just does compare to Lancer’s Polish Method. The beads are too fine so I don’t feel it working, and I feel like it’s more of a treatment that an exfoliator.
Clarins Double Serum. A friend of mine recommended this and raved about it so much that I had to get it. I broke out after each use. I think it was too heavy for my skin, even though I only used 1 pump at nights only. Smells so nice and organic, I was upset it didn’t work out.
Kat Von D Everlasting Lip Liner in Bow N Arrow and D-Minor. So I loved these liners at first sight, but…once I used them I realized these were not for me. I don’t like dark lip liners these were both too dark for me (dark nudes), also I like dry pencils these are super creamy and they glide on (I don’t like that) when they are creamy they apply very harsh, the pigment is too heavy.
Bow N Arrow is on the top, D-Minor on the bottom. I liked Bow N Arrow more.
FAB Face Cleaner. SIMPLY THE BEST.
Tatcha Beauty Paper. I bought these once a long time ago, ended up never using, and then throwing it away. So I thought I should pick one up again and try it on my t-zone during the day. –Anyway, I didn’t like it, but I didn’t hate it. It definitely absorbs the oil, but it takes your make-up off along with it. Then your left with these weird spots wherever you dabbed. So I kinda don’t know how I feel about these yet. Until then they shall follow me from handbag to handbag.
