Good Morning!

7am routine consists of:

WASH: This stuff is amazing. I’ve been using it for a few months now and have nothing but great things to say. I can’t say the same for some of the other products I tried from the line. After 3 weeks they went straight into the trash with ZERO hesitation. Clear Skin Probiotic Cleanser

SPARY: After patting my face dry I spray my FAVORITE facial mist EVER. Queen of Hungary Mist.

EYE CREAM: Next is just your basic eye cream. Nothing too special here. I’m still looking for that I Cream that I’m gonna fall in love with. Benefiance WinkleResist24

VITAMIN C: Moving on to Vitamin C serum. Been using this since it launched and it’s pretty nice. I’ve def seen a difference in my skin since using it. There are so many Vitamin C serums out there now, I only chose this one cause I love Sunday. I give this about 2-3 mins to absorb. C.E.O. Rapid Flash Brightening Serum

MOISTURIZE: This product is very new to me. I literally bought it yesterday. I read the reviews before buying it, which were great. But what sold me was the texture. It felt like a whipped oil that left no residue what so ever. It seems great for combination (normal to oily) skin. Lala Retro Whipped Cream

What is the point of the face mist? Do you just like the feeling or it provides extra moisture? Also, where does toner come into play? Do you only use it at night?

Hi Zara, so once my face is dry after washing it, I prefer to apply my serums or moisturizer on damp or moist skin not dry. That’s where the mist comes in. I use the toner at night after washing my face, I dry my face, and then apply the toner on the cotton pad and wipe my face. The toner has witch hazel in it that controls oil and tightens pores, balances the pH of my skin and regulates oil production. So they serve different purposes.

Thank you. Also, I’m looking for a good primer that doesn’t enhance the size of my pores. The smashbox and makeupforever are to drying and the Becca is to illuminating.

Also, the is Clinical brand is what Shani Darden recommends along with the cleansing complex, serum, her retinol serum and the Dr. Dennis Gross alpha beta daily peel.

You know I love the Lancôme la base primer, I’ve been using it for 2 months now. I really feel like it fills the small pores I have. –thanx for the recommendation, I have tried the peel before but didn’t love it. I’ll give it shot again. 😉

You’re still using that? Perfect. I’ll pick it up – last time the Sephora employee talked me out of it and said it’s basically the same as the smashbox. This pregnancy has jacked my skin. I can’t wait to start using products to fix it.

I’ve heard amazing things about iS Clinical Youth Eye Complex, if you want to check it out! When I run out of my current eye cream, that’s next on my list.

Anush! What serum would you recommend for dry skin? Also, do you think the LaLa Whipped Retro Cream would be good for dry skin? I can honestly only trust your recommendations lol!

What are your concerns? What would u like the serum to do? Let me know and I’ll recommend something. Yes so far I’m loving the lala whipped. I think it wouldn’t be just as great for dry skin as it is for oily. You should def try it out. You can always take it back if it doesn’t work for you.

At the moment I am on Retin-A gel so my skin has periods where it gets really dry and peels, because of that it’s also a little sensitive. But when it regulates itself out I am combo skin, oily t-zone and dry chin + cheeks

Well I am currently on Retin-A so it makes my skin so dry that it sometimes peels but, when it does regulate itself out I have an oily t-zone and dry cheeks + chin. I would just want a serum to hydrate without making me oily in my t-zone. I’ll get the lala whipped a try, maybe since we are heading into summer it could work for me.

Funny you like Sunday because I just bought the Water cream and it turned my entire face dark because it was too harsh for my skin . I had high hopes for this cream! So far that line has done more harm than good :-/
