I went to Naimie’s Beauty Center yesterday on the hunt for new shampoo and conditioner. Unfortunately I ended up leaving with a lot more than just that. Of course most of what I bought I didn’t need, but since I love trying out new products, I couldn’t stop myself from experimenting. Im like a kid in a candy store when I am here…or any other beauty supply store for that matter.
After leaving the store, I get so antsy, I can’t drive fast enough to get home!!!
Awapuhi by Paul Mitchell. I used to use this shampoo and condition months ago. Today at Naimies I saw that they won Best Of Beauty By Allure. So I decided to get the large bottles this time. If you go back to my posts about hair serum you will see that I also use their Awapuhi Oil Treatment, which also won the same award!
I am familiar with the line Iden because I use there leave-in hair cream. I decided to also buy their new shampoo conditioner to try it out. It is sulfate free and contains Omega 3 fatty acids, and of course smells fabulous! I shall update my reviews after using the products a few times.
Neuma Renew Shampoo. You must always have 1 good cleansing shampoo in you shower! Once a week it is good wash your hair with this shampoo in order to strip your hair of all the product build-up, and clean the oil and residue from your scalp. Only use once a week or once every 2 weeks if you have dry hair because the shampoo is very harsh. Over use of the product will cause it to strip your hair of its natural oils.
After using my Beauty Blender I realized how soon it gets dirty, and even though I know you can wash it, I decided to buy one more.
This was a new product, I.C.O.N India, that was displayed on the shelf that morning, and I fell in love when I smelled it! It is a leave-in remedy consisting of Moringa Oil that strengthens and heals the hair, Argan Oil that restores shine, and depth, the sexy scent of amber, and Aloe Leaves that repairs damage and gives moisture. You apply it to damp hair and comb through
I also bought the Oil from this line. Its called I.C.O.N INDIA Oil. It smoothes frizz enriching the hair with Indian oils, anti-agers, and vitamins. The senses of Amber heal the hair and makes the hair smell amazing! Use a tiny drop on dry hair and brush through.
I am not a fan of false lashes, I wear them for evening big parties only! I tried wearing them a few times for casual evening dinners but realized that they ruin your own lashes and change your natural look too much! I bought these to try them out. My sister, who is a pro at false lashes told me the half lashes I bought were not good ones, and that I should have bought demi wispies instead of wispies because the demies are longer at the tip giving the eye a longer extended affect. The half lashes are #315.
black 15in1 is very similar to the itsa10 detangler leave-in that I use, except this is more of a treatment. Apply it on damp hair comb through then style or blow-dry as usual. I bought the tiny 1oz size just to try it out. It adds shine, detangles, softens and smoothes, works instantly, adds volume, smoothes dry scalp, protects against UV light, strengthens hair, and a lot more! I will update with a post after using it.
Apparently Naimies launched the Hey, Sailor! collection by MAC sooner than Nordstrom and Bloomingdales. Earlier during the week I had posted the items I had pre-sold from this collection. Since I couldn’t pick it up until today, and the lipstick “Salute” is already sold out online I thought of buying it from Naimies as well. Couldn’t hurt to have 2. I also bought the lip pencil “Saunter” that I had not paid attention to @ Nordies.
Well that was basically it this time around! lol
Hope you guys enjoyed todays post! Feel free to ask me any questions or leave comments. Thank you for taking your time and reading my blog!
