Some people like to call it a waste of a good outfit…well tonight was a waste of a face! (did that make any sense lol?). I took time to get ready for the stupidest concert ever! and ended up leaving half way. I went to Lilit Hovhannisyan’s concert or shall I call it “Armenia”, hated the music, hated the crowd, left early wasted my time.
anyway…my make up looked fabulous though. Here are the products I used.
Love this eyeliner, it goes on smooth, allows you to wipe mistakes, and then doesn’t smear.
Set it all with this:
I normally like to apply my Youngblood loose powder in warm beige over foundation, but this foundation is very heavy and full in coverage so I simply set it with rice powder by Youngblood. It has no coverage, it just sets.
Contoured with Hoola from Benefit:
Sorry I don’t have any face pix. I was so busy being annoyed I didn’t have time to take pix. Good night everyone!
Hope you all had a fun Saturday night…I spent my night at the Americana at Brand with my mom and mother-in-law. Took them out to dinner and a movie.
Of course I stopped by Sephora and Nordies to see if there were any products that I might want. Here is what I got:
A couple of weeks ago I got a Laura Mercier Foundation Primer which I ended up giving to my older sister because I later realized I needed the “oil free” version. My t-zone is oily my cheeks are dry.
So yesterday I got the oil free foundation primer by Laura Mercier:
This is my fourth lip balm By Sara Happ. It’s to die for! Perfect for someone like me who hardly wears lipstick
Last week I stopped by Sephora and got a tiny sample of the Josie Maran Argan Illuminizer. I had seen that Teni Panossian in her youtube clip had mixed a little bit in with her foundation for a nice glow. I tried it a few times and loved it! So I got the full size:
Here is what it looks like:
It is always nice to ask to ask for a sample at Sephora or any other store to try something out, rather than buying it taking it home, using it then retuning it. That is kind of rude in my opinion, unless it is an item that you can not get a sample of. If I don’t like something or it didn’t work for my skin I always give it to my sisters. Every few months they get bags of products, they like to think of it as X-mas lol.
Tonight I am going to a concert so I will try to post what the Illuminizer looks like on the skin.
Last night one of my great friends Eddie Zaratian from Tic Tock Couture was having his book launch party at Restoration Hardware on Beverly Blvd. This of course for me was an excuse to go buy some new products to get ready the tonight lol.
So yesterday, after class I decided to drop by at Sephora for things I didn’t need:
Check out the great 500 point perk they are giving away at Sephora:
If you visit this store as much as I do, you know they hardly have anything worth picking…
Here is what I bought:
Make up For Ever has a new set of professional brushes, I didn’t really need any except for this one:
It is a lot larger than the foundation brush I have from Bdellium tools. So now I will use this for foundation and keep the bdellium tools for concealer. I used it last night and it was wonderful! No brush lines, and quick application cause of how huge it is.
My mascara had dried up already so I needed another one. I can never get over this mascara!
Perfect Nude for the Fall!
I used the new lipstick I just posted by Urban Decay
So here are some of the products I bought a few days ago…some of them are mostly restock.
If you are a follower of my blog then you know I am obsessed with this product. I go through a few bottles every year. For some reason the last 2 times I went to purchase it they only had the smaller bottle in stock, so I have to go back for more sooner than later.
For those of you who are new to my blog and don’t know about this product…I use it as a moisturizer either on its own or with another cream/lotion. First of all it smells amazing, so zen, like you are at a spa. When applied to the skin it dries soon so it doesn’t leave your skin oily or greasy. The main ingredients is Argan Oil which has many benefits to hair and skin. What I also love is the quick application. Right after the shower when your body is not completely dry, you simply rub it all over, because it is an oil you don’t need much lather. In the winter I use it with a cream, not always though, and in the summer I use it alone.
Decided to get a new Studio 993 Flat Top Kabuki Brush from Bdellium Tools. I wash the one I have often but it’s nice to have a new one to alternate. I love this brush, it is amazing for loose powder.
See how much nicer the new ones looks lol:
Anyway those are just some retocks…will post other purchases soon!
Hope everyone has a great day!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend…
I had such a wonderful Sunday, spent the entire day with my hubby, sister, and her hubs.
Anyway I made a few stops yesterday for some products lol I’m not kidding about a few. I went to Naimies first for a few things, then to the Sherman Oaks mall where I went to Sephora, Macys, and Beauty Essentials. I had to make this many stops cause certain products were not available in certain stores.
At the end of the night while we were waiting to be seated at Hot & Juicy Crawfish (yumm…) we went to Target to buy junk. I love Target shopping, I can fill up an entire cart with crap I don’t need (or do) in a matter of mins. But of course my older sister is Hitler when it comes to that kinda stuff, she never lets me buy things that either I already have or I don’t need. Anyway so we bought a few pieces of make up:
Will do product posts a few at a time.

So yesterday I randomly walked into The Beauty Insider Event at Neimans even though I had been planning on going (I just wasn’t aware of the date). Anyway here are some of the fun things I bought:
I loved this quad. I don’t usually wear eyeshadows but once in a while when I do I like matte colors and mostly browns. I thought this would be great for Fall. Everything I bought this day I had “Fall” in mind lol.
Loved these 2 for the Fall!
Can’t miss out on a good nude!
Oh! and you can’t do Fall without brown eyeliner! Sometimes it’s so much nicer to use a soft brown liner…
Rather than a harsh black. It really compliments brown eyes…
They had a cute little leopard bag they gave out as a GWP for the event filled with nonsense lol, I give all my GWP’s to my nanny she loves them!
