Good Morning Guys,
Last night I decided to make egg breakfast bites. I love the Starbucks Sous Vide Egg Bites with Bacon & Gruyere but it has so much sodium, and I know the alternative is the egg white bites but those taste like shit to me. So I thought I’d make my own version. I used mushrooms, spinach, cauliflower, and broccoli. I mixed mine with both yolk and white, but for my husband I only used egg white (which I hate) but he eats way more clean than I do.
–I gotta admit though, they do look pretty ugly and wrinkly on the plate. But they taste really good, and most importantly they are healthy.
I don’t know anyone as picky as me when it comes to power bars (then again I dont know many people as picky as me period). I won’t eat bars with any type of nuts, caramel, peanut butter, . So for me to find bars I actually enjoy eating is just AMAZING. I find most of them from Whole Foods. Here is one I love! It has a few different flavors and I love them all. I had one pre and post work out today.
This was at Grain Lab in the Empire Plaza. It’s a traditional bowl with quinoa, kale, chicken, and grilled vegetables marinated in balsamic vinaigrette and garnished with Greek herbs. It’s a hot dish not cold which makes it soooo much better. -Oh and ask for avocado pesto on the side! It’s a bowl of goodness. Feel free to thank me on the comment portion of my blog.
