I forgot this baby in my photo: best toner ever!
My eye had been on this mask so I finally picked it up. I tried it last night and really liked it. Great texture, cool scent. What I loved the most was after leaving it on for 15 mins it didn’t get all dry and cracked like most masks. I HATE washing off masks that dry on my face. It’s so tedious and annoying. This one remained soft so it easy washed off with a wet cloth.
Next I got these powder supplements from Miranda Kerr’s new line: I had one at work yesterday and it tasted like SHIT!!! I dunno if I should suck it up and drink them all to see if I see a difference in my energy level and skin or return it.
Okay this next product…so obviously we all know I have no self control when it comes to shopping (especially for beauty products), but sometimes I’ll get cheap and persuade myself out of buying a certain something. And for weeks this was THAT product. I kept telling myself I don’t need it, but the fact that it was limited edition made it really tempting. So when I did finally want it, it was sold out at all the Sephoras I went to. Until I saw it at the Beverly Dr. location and I was SOLD! Idiot. I know. I soooo don’t need it. Ohh and may I add that it’s not even dark enough for my skin tone right now lmao. So the chances of my using it are slim to none.
Last but not least…I heard great reviews on this new powder from Urban. I used it today to set my t-zone only. It’s supposed to keep me matte all day. So we’ll see. I used 3 powders to set my face today. 😂😂. Baked my undereyes with Kat Von D’s Lock It, set my cheeks with Youngblood, and this one on my t-zone.
My favorite shade in the palette is second row second color from the left. The burnt orange! I went all in with it today giving myself a smokey eye with it and blending in out with the color right next to it (light brown shade) as my transition color. It looks soooo nice!
I applied the orange on my lid and didn’t go above my crease. The brown I applied on my crease and blurred out the burnt orange. I used Bobbi Brown’s Touch Up brush to apply the orange on my lid, I used Smith brush #240 to blend the light brown with the orange and I used Morphe brush M431 to apply both shades on my lower lid.
Sorry guys this is as far as I got before my munchkin woke up. Then I quickly assumed the role of the multi-tasking mother: entertaining her with my left hand, applying eye shadow with my right, talking and laughing but trying to concentrate on what my right hand is doing. All while profusely sweating, of course.
Picked up some more products over the weekend from Space NK and Sephora.
I really didn’t need another mask but this packaging looked interesting and I have never tried this brand before. J.ONE
I needed a new eye cream, and the girls at Space NK had a lot of good things to say about the Cellulose Hydradiance Eye Contour By Terry. The only thing is, I came home and realized it’s targeted more for puffy eyes which wasn’t what I was looking for since I don’t really get puffiness. I was more interested in anti-aging and hydration. I used it last night and this morning, it was very moisturizing so we’ll see. I kinda don’t love the applicator tip though. I know it’s supposed to help de-puff when you use that tip, but I like to feel the cream on the tip of my fingers for a more accurate application.
Next we have this cool new (maybe not so new) product by Lancer called Dani. So over the weekend I wasn’t wearing any make-up because I had done the PRP treatment. Since SPF was necessary to protect my skin from the sun, when I was in SD (and in LA) I went to Planet Beauty and got a tiny sample of the Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturizer with SPF 30. I really liked it!!! It had a nice glow, gave me even skin tone, and most importantly it had sun protection. I went to Nordies yesterday to buy it but instead I come to find out that they no longer carry Perricone in Nordies, it’s only online. So I picked up this Lancer Dani Glowing Skin Perfector. He made this product specially for his wife who doesn’t like to wear a lot of make-up. It gives a nice glow and has a SPF of 30. I figured I can use it on my day-off, or when I’m bumming it on the weekends. I guess it would be great to wear around the pool too. I still think I should go get the Perricone as well.
These “blurring primers” keep disappointing me, but I keep buying new ones in hopes of finding the perfect one. I think this is new by Touch in Sol. No Poreblem Primer.
Last but not least I found this Rodial lip pencil in the most GORGEOUS color. Melrose Ave. Exactly what I like for an everyday lip color.
That’s all folks!
