A couple of weeks ago I visited Zara at CRMC Cosmetic Rejuvenation Medical Center for the first time. I was referred by a very good friend. I went in hoping to get botox on my forehead and cheek fillers, but instead I ended up with botox and under-eye fillers. After our consultation, Zara told me she would not inject my cheeks because the filler was still there from when I did it back in October with Dr. Chobanian. However, she agreed to do botox and Juvederm under my eyes. I explained to her that Dr. Chobanian had injected my under-eyes months ago and I didn’t like the results at all, but she said she used an alternative technique and would be using a different filler than what Chobanian had used.
Rather than filling directly under the inner corners of my eyes (which is what Chobanian did using Radiesse), she only filled under the outer corners where I had hollowness, using Juvederm. The results were FABULOUS, unnoticeable and I didn’t bruise AT ALL. So…this was all about 3 months ago. I decided to see her yesterday hoping she would finally agree to do my cheek bones and smile lines. Here is the thing, I don’t like to over-do my fillers and look too plastic so a lot of you may think “you just did your cheeks a few months ago” …BUT. I work out 4 days a week religiously and have a VERY fast metabolism. My body metabolizes fillers VERY fast. Radiesse is supposed to last up to 1 year, my body gets rid of it in 4-5 months TOPS.
After looking at my cheeks, Zara agreed to fill them. Except this time we didn’t do my apples and cheek bones like I have always done. I realize now after looking at my photos from my previous injections that it was a bit much, especially the first few weeks. Dr. Chobanian had used a syringe and a half on EACH cheek. Zara on the other hand used only ONE syringe for BOTH cheeks and we still had product left in the syringe that we didn’t use. I also had my smile lines filled for the first time with Juvederm. Here we are injecting my smile lines 🙂
She had just finished my right side, hence the redness going down the side of my nose. Today my cheek bones are still swollen but the smile lines look WONDERFUL. I recently realized that with all the weightloss after having my baby that my face was starting to get too thin and sunk in, and since we all know that my body is priority for me lol and I must remain skinny and toned at ALL times, I fill my face to keep it from looking too thin. I am loving the results so far, so long as I don’t over due it. I had a connection with Zara from the moment I sat in that consultation chair, and I love the advice she gives. She keeps telling me over and over again to do things in a very subtle manner to prevent from looking overdone. I love that if you ask to get something done but you don’t necessarily need it, SHE WON’T DO IT.
