Have been using these 2 foundations for a few days now and…I’m not very fond of them.
This first one, Silk Creme Foundation I used to use years ago. If I am not mistaken it was reformulated a while back, and I am not liking the new formulation at all! This used to be ALL DAY WEAR. It literally moved all over my face. HATED IT.
This next one is new, Candleglow Soft Luminous Foundation.
I was very excited to try this out especially since my skin is dry now. I wanted to see what a hydrating foundation would feel like on my skin and how it would look and last. I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t LOVE it either. It gave a nice dewy look, the coverage was nice, but once again it just didn’t last long. I am not fan of foundations that start to diminish off your face mid-day. I think I would recommend this for people with VERY dry skin.
Have a safe weekend everyone!
Made a quick stop to Naimies earlier today. My body lotion from Keihl’s had just finished today so I picked up a new bottle:
I love this lotion! Especially when I mix it with Keihl’s dry Argan Oil.
Anyway, I’m sure most of you saw on my blog a few days ago that I started to lighten my hair from jet black to brown. The process is going amazing so far, but of course I am very BIG on keeping my hair healthy! SO I decided to pick up, in my opinion, the BEST line of hair care to keep my hair as healthy as possible throughout the coloring process: Kerastase Nutritive. I used to manage a salon about 10 or so years ago and that’s when I first got introduced to the line along with Bumble and Bumble. The Nutritive collection was always my favorite! I got Bain Satin 2 because 1 is not heavy enough for me and 3 is too heavy. So 2 is perfect. God the scent takes me back! I love reminiscing.
This next one is the conditioner.
Masquintense is a treatment. Years ago this treatment was numbered like 1, 2, and 3 just like the shampoos. I being the lightest formulation and 3 being the heaviest for severely dry and thick hair. But I guess now it’s split between thick and thin hair. So of course I got thin cause my have A LOT of THIN hair. I’ll be doing this once or twice a week. I’ll wash my hair at night, put this on and go to sleep. In the morning I wash it off.
This product was new to me. Loved the smell! (smells just like the line lol nothing different). I just wanted a nice leave in oil I could use after a wash.
I also picked up my first pair of Lilly Ghalichi Glam lashes:
These 2 were my fav:
