AMAZING!

Okay so most of us have already heard of Estee Lauders Double Wear Foundation, right? Has amazing coverage, lasts insanely long, matte, heavy in texture, basically a wonderful foundation if you are going out, gonna party, and you want your face to stay-in-place and last all day. My old one had oxidized already so I went to Bloomies the other day to buy a new one.

image
Being that I have no self-control what-so-ever when it comes to products…I could not leave with just the item I needed. I saw another foundation that read Double Wear on it, but this one was in a tube and also said “Maximum Coverage”.
image
image
Long story short…I got it, in the same color as my original double wear. Along with this beautiful concealer that was also an illuminator (will post product review on this soon).
image

So on Friday and Saturday day & night I went out and on all 3 occasions I used Double Wear Maximum Coverage. First night was my first time using it so I used a bit too much. I didn’t realized that a very very very little bit goes a very very very long way! The coverage was f%#$ing phenomenal. Saturday night I put a tiny amount like literally a pea size on the back of my hand and applied it with my Sigma F80 brush. I am obsessed with this foundation! Unlike the original Double Wear formula, this one goes on like satin. Seriously it feels like your applying butter to your skin, that’s how soft it is. I wish I could use it everyday but I feel as if though I would break out from if I did. God knows I’ll try tho!

Anyway…Hope everyone has a great week! I will be enjoying my last week off, until the torture of nursing school and clinicals begins next week.

XoXo,
Anyut

Product Review

Hey Guys,

I had watched a vlog post about the Naked Skin Beauty Balm Broad Spectrum and thought I have to see what I’m missing out on…
image
apparently…Nothing At All!

The chick on youtube said its a perfect primer, or base for your make-up. When in actuality this product is to be used as a BB cream. It is understandable that BB creams also play a purpose of priming and perfecting the skin, but I didn’t see that happen with this product. Anyway…I tried it as a primer and hated it. I have yet to try it on its own. When classes start and I begin having my bum days, I will most likely use it then.

All in all I give this product a C!

Anyut

Yesterday’s Purchases

Hey Guys,

I stopped by the Americana yesterday in the afternoon to have lunch with my best friend, Rimul. Of course we to Sephora:
image
I had to try these out.

Later on that evening I decided to treat my mother and mother-in-law to dinner and treat myself to some shopping. I stopped by the cosmetics counter at Nordstrom at the Grove and got this:
image
Yes, as you have seen I already have this exact same foundation. BUT…recently Bobbi Brown has reformulated the product and it is supposed to last I believe 6-8 hrs where as before it was 4-6. I’m not sure what the other advantages are, but I do remember the girl giving me more details. Anyway I’ll keep you guys posted on how I like it. (btw Sephora has not yet taken the old sticks off the floor to replace them with the new formulated ones) As far as I know only Bloomingdales and Nordstrom have done that.

Oh…and I have to share with you all my girlfriend Rimas HAIR & HAIR COLOR! She has always had amazing thick hair, and a lot of it!!! Years ago she used to go to Kim Vo for her color, he would give her the most amazing blonde hair ever! I swear it would look like barbie hair, her blonde was so perfect back then it almost looked like a wig. Anyway after almost 2 years of not dying it she decided to go back to Kim for color. He did such beautiful onbmre, check it out:
image
The top color is her natural color. I will post more pix once she starts going back to blonde.

Hope you all enjoy this beautiful day! I have a 11am b-day party that I have to start getting ready for! Ya…I know…who the hell has a 11am party right? I believe all the other 100 women (guests) are thinking the same exact thing…

Marc Jacobs

Hey Guys,

A couple of weeks ago I purchased this concealer by Marc Jacobs called the Re(Marc)able Full Cover Concealer.
image
I have mixed feelings about it…I love the texture, it is very emollient and coverage is great, but it creases under the eyes. So I decided that its good for blemishes but not under eye coverage, unless you have any folds or lines under your eyes. Some people are lucky, they really don’t have those under eye lines, so they don’t have issues with products creasing. The product comes in many shades so you won’t have a hard time finding your color. I got shade 3 thinking I will be using it for under eye, but I might have to go get shade 4 for spot concealing.

Weekend Fun!

Hey Guys,

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I spent most of my weekend studying for my last final this week…so excited to be done with my first year of nursing school, no more pre-reqs now it’s time for the fun stuff! Anyway…I wanted to share with you all what I ate on Saturday at my aunts house:

We had a huge family gathering and had homemade sushi! (my hubby and I were in 7th heaven lol)
image
It was so amazing! My aunts hubby is a pro at making it!
Later on that night I had fabulous party at my best friends house! She had set the most beautiful dinner tables (LOVE YOU ANUL):

It looked even more amazing at night when the candles were lit. Unfortunately I didn’t end up taking a single picture this night cause I was too busy dancing the night away…

I will get back to posting once I am done with my final on Tuesday! Wish me Luck! (I’m kidding I don’t need it ;))

Product Review

Hey Guys,

A couple of days ago I had posted the Bulletproof Brows by Too Faced and said I how I liked it more than the Anastasia Dipbrow. Recently I purchased this brush by Anastasia:
image
I really love it, especially to use with the Dipbrow:
image
The tip of the brush is very thin. Not all brow brushes are this fine at the tip, so this allows for a perfect application. And I love when brow brushes have a spooley at the tip.
